Thomas A Renicks Jr.'s Obituary
Mr. Thomas "Tom" A Renicks Jr., passed away January 6, 2014 at his home in Gainesville, Florida. He was born on October 8, 1953 to Thomas A Renicks Sr. and Nancy Harbach in Zanesville, Ohio.
Tom proudly served his country in the United States Army 3rd Armored
Division. He was responsible for founding Troop 416 of the Boy Scouts. Tom devoted his life to mentoring his scouts and continued to be active
with Troop 416 until his passing. He found great joy in doing activities /
events and teaching them life lessons. Tom worked for UF Health at
Shands for the past 30 years.
He was known as a caring and generous man who was extremely devoted
to his family. He is survived by his wife Linda Renicks, children; Thomas A Renicks and his wife Theresa Renicks and Jillian Renicks,
grandchildren; Logan, Lana, and Ashton, father, Thomas A Renicks Sr.
and his wife Carlie Renicks, and his mother Nancy Harbach, siblings; Jan Summers and her husband Robert Summers, Dr. Michael Renicks and his wife Kayjeong Renicks, and Robin Harbach.
A Life Celebration Service will be held Thursday, January 9, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME WESTAREA, 823 NW 143rd Street. Burial will be in Craig Memorial Park, St. Augustine, FL.
