I briefly worked at the family pharmacy in the early 80's, I ran the register. I had never met a man like Thom Holland before, he was like a character out of a Hollywood movie. I remember he used to refer to Nancy as "My Bride" and I thought that was so sweet and original. I don't recall that he had a nickname for me, I didn't work there long but from time to time I would stop in and say hi with my son Eli and he did give him a nickname, he called him Levi which made me laugh. I thought he was the smartest and wittiest man I had ever met. I am only now writing this because I am watching a movie called Olive Kitteridge and in the movie the protagonist is married to a pharmacist and he owns a small town pharmacy and I immediately thought of Thom so I did a quick Google search and I immediately saw the obituary. What a poignant funny loving tribute from Daniel. Sending my condolences to your dear Mother and the entire family. He was one of a kind that one.
