Thomas Franklin "Tommy" Greer's Obituary
Thomas Franklin “Tommy” Greer, age 86 of Hawthorne, FL passed away Friday, September 20, 2019. He was born April 9, 1933 in Fireco, West Virginia to Clyde and Amy Alice McDaniels Greer.
He proudly served in the US Army in the Korean War. He loved his clocks and fished when he was able. Most of all he loved his family.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Gladys R. Greer; daughters, Carolyn Traster, Jenny Kender (Stephen) and Shelva Vargovich (Joseph); ten grandchildren and twenty-five great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by daughter, Patricia Morgan; brothers, Jimmy and Kenneth Greer; sisters, Belle Belcher, Audrey “Bootsie” Drumheller and Helen Fink and granddaughter, Jennifer Turner.
Services and Burial will be held in Beckley, West Virginia.
