Thomas Nathanel Futch's Obituary
Thomas Nathanel Futch, age 69 of High Springs, passed away Friday, November 30, 2018 at E. T. York Hospice Care Center in Gainesville. He was born August 5, 1949 in Ft. Pierce, Florida to Elton Howard and Dolly Jeanette Kellogg Futch. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of High Springs for many years. He proudly served in the United States Navy. He was a lover of nature, and owned and operated Native Woods. He was passionate about fishing, carpentry, and growing fruits and vegetables.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Futch; son, Nathan Futch; step sons, Kyle and David Pinner; brothers, Donald Futch, James Futch, Mike Futch, and Ed Avery.
Tom’s Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church of High Springs, 17405 US-441, High Springs, with Pastor Sam Maihack officiating. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorials to Alachua Conservation Trust, 7204 SE County Road 234, Gainesville, FL 32641, or plant a tree in Tom’s memory.
