Thomas E. Durham's Obituary
Thomas E. Durham, age 84 of Lake City, Florida, passed away Saturday, August 11, 2018 in E.T. York Care Center. Thomas was born August 16, 1933 in Miami, Florida to Charles A. and Ruth Young Durham. Thomas worked as a linesman for BellSouth. He enjoyed working in his yard and putting around the garage. A gun collector, he enjoyed gun shows and he also did watch repair. He was a member of the Lake City and Miami Masonic Lodge. Thomas was a dedicated husband.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Agatha Durham; daughter, Sandra and husband Ken Sallot of Gainesville and brother, Charles Durham of Inverness. He was preceded in death by his brother, Paul Durham.
A Graveside Service will be held Friday, August 17, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in Flagler Memorial Park, 5301 W Flagler St, Miami, FL 33134. The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 15, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME DOWNTOWN, 404 North Main Street. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorials to Haven Hospice, 4200 NW 90th Blvd., Gainesville, FL 32601 or Al’z Place, 3411 NW 83rd Street, Gainesville, FL 32606.
