Thomas Coady's Obituary
Thomas Coady, age 22 of Gainesville, Florida passed away Saturday, December 6, 2014. He was born August 12, 1992 in Cambridge, Massachusetts to Maria R. Madden and Gerard A. Coady.
Thomas was a biology major at the University of Florida. He worked with Immigrant families in need in Alachua and Levy County. He volunteered at the Veterans Administration Hospital.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gerard A. Coady, paternal grandparents, Tomas and Christina Coady of Galway, Ireland.
He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Maria R. Coady Bedard and Thomas W. Bedard; sister, Rachel C. Coady, stepbrother, Austin T. Bedard, stepsister, Emliy A. Bedard, maternal great grandmother, Marie J. Del Rossi, maternal grandparents, William and Carol (Del Rossie) Ritchie and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
A celebration of life service will be held Thursday, December 11, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. at the Greenhouse Church, 2925 NW 39 Avenue. Family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations can made be made in memory of Thomas Coady to the UF Department of Biology, payable to "UF Foundation.
