Thomas D. Beaver's Obituary
Thomas D. Beaver of Newberry, Florida passed away on May 13, 2016.. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Betty Hewell Beaver, one son, Thomas Michael Beaver and his wife, Rocki; one daughter, Betty Ann Beaver Brown and her husband Russel; and two granddaughters: Melissa Erin Brown and her husband Wesley; and Cara Elizabeth Beaver. He was a native of
Wayne County and was the son of Annie. G. Bennett Beaver and Luther Thomas Beaver. He was predeceased by his six sisters: Gladys Owens, Ruby Elliott, Bernola Paschal, Sarah Elizabeth Beaver, Betty Scott and Carrie Ingram. He has numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Tom graduated from Wayne County High School in 1948. He served in the Navy from 1948 to 1952. He moved to Atlanta to attend Ga. Tech and graduated in 1957. He spent 38 years with Atlanta Gas Light Company as engineer and in management. Tom and Betty traveled in their retirement years and have many pictures to prove it. Tom loved God, his country and his family. He will find peace in Heaven and be with his mother, father and sisters. He will leave a void for those left behind, but precious memories will provide comfort until we meet again. Take care of him, God; we love him so much.
