Theresa “Tess” Rae Marshall, 68, passed away on January 23, 2026. She was born on June 8, 1957, in Gunnison, Utah, and resided in High Springs, Florida, at the time of her passing.
Tess is survived by her beloved husband, Geoffrey Marshall; her children Brandi Wilcock, Nicole Jacobs, Tyler Wilkes, and Terra Smith; her grandchildren Colby Sorensen, Casey Osburne, Tori Jacobs, Kali Colby, and Kaden Colby; and her great-grandchildren Lynox Osburne and Lainey Osburne.
Tess was a beautiful woman with a heart of gold, a backbone made of iron, and a silver tongue that could either love or lash—depending on what the moment required. She was, above all else, a giver. Tess would give the shirt off her back simply because someone admired it; need was never a requirement. Generosity came naturally to her.
She loved cinnabar perfume, diet coke, and had her own unique way of showing love—often sharp-edged, always sincere. Her family meant everything to her, and she would do absolutely anything to ensure they were taken care of in this life.
More than anything, Tess loved to dance. She was the life of the party, the fun waiting to happen, the one who turned ordinary moments into unforgettable memories. Her love for overalls was legendary— fashion, plants, soil under her nails, and a devotion that proved she was a true fashionista and gardener at heart.
Tess lived fully, loved fiercely, and left an unmistakable imprint on everyone lucky enough to know her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Nashville, with the date to be shared once arrangements are finalized. We hope everyone who loved Tess will be able to attend and celebrate her remarkable life.
