Terrance Wayne Skipper's Obituary
Terrance Wayne Skipper, age 59, of Gainesville passed away Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at Ocala Regional Medical Center. He was born March 10, 1958 in Quincy, Florida to James William and Eleanor Levy Skipper, Sr. Terry moved to Gainesville at a young age and is a graduate of Buchholz High School Class of 1976 and Santa Fe Community College. In his youth, he was an avid surfer and loved motorcross sports. He spent his later years very active in a recovery group in Ocala, and loved music, fishing, water sports and outdoor activities. He is survived by his daughters, Aubrie Skipper Trotter and Candis Skipper; brother, Bill Skipper; sister, Sylvia Harper; grandsons, Blake Trotter and Maddox Skipper; and four loving nieces.
Funeral Services will be held on September 30, 2017 in the chapel of Trinity United Methodist Church of Gainesville at 1:30 pm, reception to follow in the atrium. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorials to The Phoenix House, 510 Vonderburg Dr, Ste. 301, Brandon, FL 33511.
