Terrance George Reynolds' Obituary
Terrance George Reynolds, age 81, “Terry” passed away holding his wife’s hand peacefully after battling numerous health issues, Thursday, April 11, 2024. Though his body weakened, his fierce determination and independent spirit never faltered, nor his faith.
Terry was born October 14, 1942, in Chicago, IL, to George and Rita (Smith) Reynolds. He spent his early Childhood living in the Austin neighborhood of Chicago until the family moved in 1951 to Elmhurst, IL. As a Freshman at Elmhurst’s York High School (Class of 1961) he met another Freshman, Diana Lee Glassner. They were engaged on Diana’s 16th Birthday and married on June 15, 1963.
A graduate of the Washburn Trade School, he spent his entire career in the Financial Printing Industry.
He now leaves his loving wife of 60 years, Diana; two sons: David (Wendi) and Scott (Kristi); five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren, one nephew, three nieces, and enough friends to fill the horizon.
Terry reunites with his parents, his brother Richard, and his nephew and godson Shaun.
A Memorial Service and Reception will begin at 2:00PM, Saturday, April 20, 2024, at Melrose United Methodist Church, 5708 Hampton Street, Melrose, FL with Rev Amanda Hodges officiating.
A Celebration of Life will also take place in Chicago’s Western Suburbs on at 2:00PM, Saturday, May 18, 2024, at a to be determined location. For information, e-mail [email protected]. This will be a casual dress event.
