Teresia "Dusti" Kay Rhoades Mash's Obituary
Teresia “Dusti” Kay Rhoades Mash on March 5, 2021, at 9:11 a.m., earned her gift and went to be with God while surrounded by her loving family. She was a woman strong in her faith and she shared that faith with everyone she knew.
She was born on September 6, 1949, in Piedmont, Alabama.
Teresia is preceded in death by her mother; Virginia Rose Jewell, brother; David Jewell, aunt; Marie Cohee, grandson; Christian Rhoades.
She is survived by her sons; Sean Rhoades and wife Michelle, Curtis Pierson and wife Cherry, granddaughter; Alia Rhoades and Dalton Hodge, great-grandsons; Christian Hodge, Holden Hodge, dear cousins Lisa Cohee Weinberg and John Putnam, aunt; Kathy Penny, and many beloved cousins of the Cohee, Putnam and Rhoades family. She is also survived by her beloved dog “Gunner” who was her loyal and faithful companion for the last four years.
She was known for sharing her love and imparting her wisdom to anyone who wanted her help, which is the reason so many people called her Momma.
Per her wishes, there will be no funeral service. Teresia’s ashes will be scattered off Sanibel Island along with her brother David Jewell, and where her dear grandson Christian’s ashes are scattered.
