I worked with Ted for a number of years at CH2m-Hill. My office was next to his. I often sought and always appreciated Ted's perspective on understanding and solving engineering problems. Ted was a really good engineer with a unique perspective and always applied his best efforts. Knowing him and working with him was a pleasure. Please accept my condolences for your loss.

As a corporate pilot for CH2M-Hill I had the opportunity to fly Ted to many of his projects for a few years. He became a friend, as well as a passenger, and we had some great experiences back then. In recent years we talked about grabbing a cup of coffee together to reminisce - and now we’ll have to wait a little longer. Rest in peace, my friend.

I worked with Ted Belser years ago when we tried to start up an ASME chapter in Gainesville. He was an intelligent, capable person who was helpful and saw what needed to be done and did it. Unfortunately, Maria became ill during the time I worked with him and he had to bow out. I always thought highly of him--it sounds like he made a lot of contributions to the community. He will certainly be missed.

I was so sad to hear of Ted's passing. I did not know Ted very well but had many interactions with him at our local ASCE chapter engineering meetings. Ted was a very knowledgeable engineer and was always participating and bringing energy to our local chapter meetings. I was amazed at his attention to detail and his knowledge of many subject matters. I am sure an engineer of Ted's caliber will be greatly missed. To his family I am so very sad for your loss, and wish you peace in the coming days and months ahead.
Ted, May you Rest In Peace. We met a few years ago working together on a very unique project - Atlantic Saphire USA Salmon Farm. I was the Architect and you were the “King of Water”.
