Taraben Maganbhai Patel's Obituary
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother and grandmother, Taraben Maganbhai Patel, on January 27, 2026, at the age of 99.
Taraben was born on March 11, 1926, in South Africa. She spent much of her life in Khoj-Pardi, where she built a home filled with love, faith, and community, before moving to the United States in 2002 to be closer to her family.
A devoted matriarch, Taraben dedicated her life to her family, always placing their well-being and happiness above all else. She was a woman of deep faith, grace, and remarkable strength. She will be fondly remembered for her unwavering love, infectious laughter, endless wisdom, and the kindness she shared so freely with everyone she met.
Taraben is survived by her children Kiritbhai, Bhanuben, and their spouses; and is reunited in eternal peace with her late children Shashikantbhai, Damyantiben, and Nirmalaben. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who will continue to carry forward her values and love.
Taraben leaves a lasting legacy of faith, family, and compassion that will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
