Susan Melissa Neck Werner's Obituary
Susan Werner died July 21, 2014 as a result of an apparent fall at her home in Gainesville, FL. Susan grew up in Jacksonville, FL and, after graduation from FSU, spent many years in Cullman, AL where she taught elementary school and received a master’s degree from UAB. While in Cullman she married Robert Werner and helped run a family retail business.
After spending time in Weeki Wachee, FL and Southern Pines, NC, she moved to Gainesville in 1996 where she taught school and cared for her mother.
Susan is survived by her sister, Christy L. Swendsen and her nephew Christopher S. Swendsen, both of Jupiter, FL, and her brother Stephen L. Neck of Melrose, FL.
We will miss her quick wit and loving demeanor. May she rest in peace!
