Susan Rae Krecker's Obituary
Susan Rae Krecker, 75, resident of the Cue Lake community, died Monday, March 27, 2023, in the U. F. Shands Hospital, following a brief illness.
Mrs. Krecker was born on April 8, 1947, in Elmhurst, Illinois to the late Arnold and Margaret Kueker. She was raised in Illinois and moved to West Palm Beach in the early 1980’s and then to the Hawthorne area in 2003. She was a homemaker, who when younger enjoyed arts and crafts and reading.
She was preceded in death by her husband of over 55 years, Mr. Thomas John Krecker, who passed away in 2021, and by a brother, Mr. Scott Kueker in 2019.
She is survived by her daughter, Carrie (James) Delaporte, of Hawthorne and one son, John Thomas Krecker, of Newberry; a sister, Sharron Guthrie, of West Palm Beach; four grandchildren, Michael and Thomas Delaporte and Madison and Austin Krecker.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at 11:00 A. M., in the Melrose United Methodist Church, 5708 Hampton Street, Melrose. Interment will follow in Hawthorne Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital https://www.stjude.org/.
