He called me "Lucky" even though he was the blessed one with a lovely family, great sense of humor and a keen sense for antique glass. Steve taught me much about pottery as well and also to not take things too seriously and always laugh. I will miss Steve but will always smile when I do. A true Renaissance man and a good friend!

I was so sad to hear of Steve’s death. He was one of my best friends at Mississinewa High School and we shared many adventures. I’m sorry time and distance didn’t allow us to know each other as adults. I am happy that he had a loving family that brightened his too short life.
