My condolences to the family of Steve Lawrence. He and I worked at the same company decades ago, and I well recall how proud he was of his son and grandchildren (who were still very young at the time). And now he is together again with his beloved Virginia. May his memory always be a blessing to you, as I know it will be to me.

I am just one of the many Publix customers who would try to find the line where Stephen was working. He was such a kind and interesting man who always made the day better. I did not know that he was a pastor but am not surprised because God's glory surely shone when he was around. God rest his soul and many prayers for his family.

Stephen Lawrence was a remarkable and inspiring man of humility, wisdom, and grace. I always looked forward to our brief, but informative and meaningful conversations. Celia Burger

"I always saw Mr. Lawrence as the grandfather I never had, someone who taught me life lessons, experiences, and was very thoughtful and caring. I won't let his passing be in vain. I am happy that I got to meet the most interesting, nice, and wonderful man ever.
Mr. Lawrence was the father I never had. He shared his life and experiences with me. He made me appreciate all the ups and downs in my life and focus on the final goal God set for me. Close to the end of his life he asked God to forgive him of any sins he may have done because he was at peace and would always give the glory to God. Rest in Peace my friend because I have no doubt that God is smiling upon you and your works.
your forever friend, Dr. Doris Morand
