Stephanie K. Wester's Obituary
Mrs. Stephanie K. Wester passed away on February 2, 2016 at North Florida Hospital. She was 85.
Stephanie was preceded in death by her only daughter, Suzanne M. Wester, M. D., and her parents, Adeline and Harry Kornprobst. She is survived by her husband, William J. Wester; her son, Jeff Wester; her brother Harry Kornprobst; sisters-in-law Stella Chambliss of Greenville, NC and Sharon Kornprobst of Ocala, FL and brother-in-law Tom Chambliss, PhD of Greenville, NC.
Stephanie was born on December 21, 1930 in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. She graduated from Kent State with a degree in education. She later earned her Master’s Degree from Johns Hopkins University. A gifted educator Stephanie taught elementary school for more than thirty years. She retired from the Howard County Public School System in Maryland. After retirement Stephanie returned to mentoring young adults as a supervisor of student teachers at Salisbury State University in Maryland.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 11:00 A. M., in the Chapel of the Williams-Thomas Funeral Home Westarea, 823 NW 143rd Street, Newberry.
