Sheryl Ann Morgan's Obituary
Sheryl Ann Morgan, 70, of Hawthorne, FL, died Saturday, August 22, 2020, from injuries suffered in an auto accident.
She was born in Kansas City, MO, May 21, 1950, to parents Bert and Shirley Morgan. Her dad was in the Navy, so she lived in California, Hawaii, and Jacksonville, Florida when growing up. She graduated from high school in Jacksonville.
Her adult years were spent mostly living in Mission, Kansas. She was employed by the federal government at the Marine Corps Finance Center in Kansas City for most of her career and retired from there. She also was honorably discharged from the United States Air Force.
Anyone wanting to make a donation in her memory could give to the animal rescue organization of your choice.
She is survived by her cousins and close friends, among them Karlyn and Jeff Miller and Jean Thornton of Missouri and Leslie Ellis of Florida and foster sister Patricia Ketch Shortridge of Florida.
