Shelia Anita Pons' Obituary
Shelia Anita Pons “She- She” 57 of Gainesville, FL passed away Wednesday February 6th, 2019 at her home in Windsor. She was born July 29th 1961 to Betty Pons and Albert Pons in Gainesville, FL. She was the youngest daughter of 9 children. She worked years at the University of Florida as a secretary. She most recently spent her time taking care of anyone who needed help. She had a love for life. Shelia loved going to the beach, spending time with family, and gardening.
Shelia was preceded in death by her father, Albert Pons, mother, Betty Pons, siblings, Charley and Nathan Pons, Daniel Killebrew, Beth Pons, niece Lydia Masterson-Pons, and life-long best friend Blaine Schwall.
She is survived by her siblings, James Pons, Phillip and Susan Pons, Faron and Elizabeth Pons, Katherine Pons, and Shirley Killebrew, 11 nieces and nephews, 28 great nieces and nephews, 1 great great nephew and her dogs Bear, Brit, and Taz who all loved her to the stars.
A Celebration of Life will be held February 16th at 11:30am at Shelia’s home in Windsor (4405 NE CR 234 Gainesville, FL 32641. This will be a covered dish meal celebration and all who knew her are welcome to come help us celebrate the life and love of “She-She.”
