Shane Daniel Eiland's Obituary
Shane Daniel Eiland passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2023, in Palatka, Florida. He had suffered from several medical conditions for the last few years. Shane was a long-time resident of Hawthorne, Florida.
Shane was born on June 1, 1959, in Fort Campbell, Kentucky. His younger years were spent on the west side of Jacksonville, Florida. The family then moved to Chiefland, Florida. While in high school, Shane could be seen almost daily walking or running up and down Manatee Springs Road.
One of Shane’s passions was fishing, and he loved the old western movies. His favorite all time companions were his dogs, Taz and Gracie.
Shane is survived by his father, John and stepmother, Sandra of Middleburg. Two grandchildren, Justin and Brianna Cribley of Havana, FL, a brother-Randy (Patty) Eiland from Interlachen, two sisters-Jennice (Chris) Kazimier of Alachua and Denise Eiland (Billy) from Bronson, FL, a sister in law – Renee Eiland of Havana, FL, step sister – Kris West (Robert) and two step brothers – Joe (Kim) and Jeff (Amanda) Collier all from Middleburg. There are numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and some special friends.
Shane is preceded in death by his mother-Jean Marie Eiland, daughter-Danielle Nicole Eiland and brother-Scott Lee Eiland.
We know you were met with lots of loving arms when you got to that great mansion in the sky. RIP until we all meet again.
A Service will be held Friday, March 17, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Williams-Thomas Hawthorne Chapel, 22205 SE 69th Ave. Hawthorne.
