I was so sorry to hear about the passing of Mr. Butler. He was always so friendly to me at SWUMC when I played piano there. He never missed a chance to rag on my beloved Steelers but in a friendly, fun way. He brought joy everywhere he went and always made me laugh and smile. May eternal light shine on him.

Scottie's passing will be felt not only by the community but especially by the SW UMC congregation. We will miss seeing him there when we visit Nancy & Al.
Chuck enjoyed getting together with him at the Men's group for breakfast -always a great conversation. Our sympathy to you and family.

Su and family. I am so sorry for your loss. Scottie was a wonderful friend to both me and my first husband Tom Millsaps, a co worker at Florida Farm Bureau. Sue, much as I would love to be there at the funeral, it is too late to find a caregiver for my present husband. Will try to see you later.
Dear Sue, Jennifer and family,
May the good Lord give you strength during this difficult time. Scottie was a wonderful friend and fraternity brother to all of us who were privileged to know him. My good memories of our times together at the Kappa Alpha Mansion at the University of Florida during the early 60s will live with me for all my life. Scottie had such a positive influence on so many for his entire life.
With much love and sincerity,
W. Daniel Boyd, Jr.
