Hello, First of all, I am so sorry for your loss. I was the guidance counselor at LaBrae High School when Scott attended there. I remember what a kind young man he was and how he loved to play basketball . For some reason, Scott has been on my mind lately and now I know why, unfortunately. I also remember when Scott collapsed on the old gym floor while playing the sport he loved most. I was really worried about him. I understand that it was a "good thing" that he collapsed then because they found his heart issue and were able to medicate him to control it. I just wanted you to know how I will always remember his gentle personality and I want you to know that he will be missed by many people. I retired, after 39 years at LaBrae, 6 years ago but I have fond memories of my years there and the special people, like Scott, who touched our hearts. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
