Scott Alan Kueker's Obituary
Scott Alan Kueker, age 61 of Gainesville, passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at his home. He was born June 9, 1957 in Elmhurst, Illinois to Arnold Henry and Margaret Elizabeth Thorsen Kueker. Scott loved his music and enjoyed going to many concerts over the years. He loved playing golf, and his Chicago Bears and Cubs – “Go Bears!” He enjoyed working in his yard, spending time by the ocean especially Venice Beach and St Augustine he enjoyed time with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Arnold Kueker.
Scott is survived by the love of his life, Nancy Silva of Gainesville; sons, Kyle Kueker (Lyndsay) of Newberry and Matthew Kueker of Gainesville. mother, Margaret Kueker of Hawthorne; Sisters Sharron Guthrie of West Palm Beach and Susan Krecker (Thomas) of Hawthorne; along with Karen Austin (Jesse) of Manhattan, KS and their children, twins, Samuel and Alexander, and Ellie Austin; and Daniel Silva of Palo Alto, CA, and many nieces and nephews, and his loving dog, Aubrey
A Celebration of Scott’s Life will be held Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Melrose United Methodist Church, 5802 Centre St, Melrose, with Pastor Louis Trembley officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 4, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME WESTAREA, 823 NW 143rd Street. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorials to Haven Hospice, 4200 NW 90 Blvd, Gainesville, FL 32606.
