Scott Richard DeJackome's Obituary
Scott Richard DeJackome 65 of Gainesville, FL passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2024, surrounded by family after a courageous battle with cancer.
Scott was born in Greenfield, MA and graduated from Mahar Regional HS, Orange, MA in 1976. After high school, Scott moved to Florida and began his career in the hospitality business, videography and eventually Manager with Airborne Express and DHL. Scott married Lisa Auman and they shared 38 beautiful years together. Scott , Lisa and their daughter Aimee enjoyed traveling especially to the mountains of North Carolina and Georgia. He loved exercising his arm at the Hard Rock. All that knew him enjoyed his quick Wit and love for life.
Scott was predeceased by his parents, Bernard and Jeannette DeJackome, his mother-in-law, Rebecca Jane Auman and father-in-law, John Edward Auman.
He leaves behind his wife Lisa (Auman) DeJackome, daughter Aimee Lynn DeJackome of Gainesville, FL, brothers, Ronald (Charlene) DeJackome of Petersham, MA, Gene (Kim Gingras) DeJackome of Annapolis, MD, Mark (Irene) De-Jackome of W Springfield, MA, and sister, Elaine (Neal) Collier of Port Orange, FL. sister-in law, Jessica (Auman) Cooney and her husband Mark Cooney and brother-in-law, Eric Auman and his wife Coretta (Tipton) Auman and many nieces and nephews.
There are no calling hours. A celebration of life will be held at a future date.
