Sarah Jean Hudnall's Obituary
Sarah Jean Hudnall, age 83 of Hawthorne FL, passed away Monday July 24, 2023. Sarah was born October 8th, 1940 in Mannington, WV to Elmer Mike and Martha Simpson.
Sarah was a loving mother and wife. She went to college and achieved an Associates Degree at FCCJ in Jacksonville, FL. She went to real estate school and started a small buisness selling Western-Style fringes, that was so successful her products were sold at Walt Disney World for a time.
She enjoyed gardening, bird Watching, spending time with her family, and traveling north to watch the leaves change colors and to see the Mountains. Sarah was also a viracious reader. She loved mystery novels and always could be found reading at night.
She is survived by her children, Suzanne Abernethy of Inglis, FL; Virginia Dawson of Jacksonville,FL; William Hudnall Jr of Inglis,FL; Joseph Allen Hudnall of New Orleans,LA; Timothy L Hudnall of Jacksonville,FL; Her siblings, William Mike, Charles Mike, Thomas Mike, Donald Mike, Dorthea Sue Keith, and 12 Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her Husband of 43 years, William Jennings Hudnall Sr of Hawthorne,Fl; her son William A Hudnall; sisters, Wanda Ward and Mary Jo Simpson and brother James Mike.
A celebration of her life will be held Tuesday, August 2nd, 2023 at the clubhouse of Buddy's Lakeside Park in Inglis Florida. Food will be served and feel free to come tell a story celebrating Sarah's remarkable life. She will be dearly missed.
Sarah will be laid to rest with her husband in the Jackonville National Cemetary, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, FL 32218.
