Sara "Delores" Schmidt's Obituary
Sarah “Delores” Schmidt, age 85 of Gainesville, FL passed away Monday, September 2, 2019. She was born in Glendale, NY on January 15, 1934. She was one of Six Children that Adam and Anne Wahl had. Her brothers were George, Francis and Joseph, her sisters Marie and Diana.
Her Children are Marie-Anne, Catherine, Charles, Eileen, Steven, Lorraine, Edward, Paul and Michael.
She has 11 grandchildren Karen, Lisa, Matthew, Nathan, Sandra, Tanya, Adam, Carly, Bryant, Stephanie and Steven.
Also 4 great grandchildren Izzily, Lucas, Sophia and Destiny.
Sarah loved music, both live and recorded and would sing along when the opportunity presented itself. She enjoyed being silly to make her family and others laugh. And she enjoyed being at the beach or near the water, it was her favorite place to be.
A big part of her life was camping. Bruno (Ed) and Sarah would travel in their Airstream Motor Home to visit family. It was a great way to have her family get together. She loved her tea and goodies to go with it.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, September 14, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 3780 NW 16th Blvd, Gainesville.
