Mr. Pace was a rare jewel- gruff on the outside but a heart of gold and loyal to a fault once you got past that exterior. He was a mentor to me when I was a young ag teacher and I was blessed to consider him a friend long after my career changed paths. I will miss our random phone chats to catch up on how life was going. Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.
