Dear Sam, Celie, Cynthia, Laura Lee, David, John, and all of the Crouch family: please accept my heartfelt condolences. Lee/Pop was such a kind, intelligent, genuine man. I will never forget the conversations that I was fortunate enough to have with him at the Marina, how he told me stories of his career with the utmost humility, and stories of his family with the utmost love. My son MJ described him as "the most well-spoken man he has ever had the chance to meet" - I guess that about sums it up. He will be greatly missed.
Mike and I are so saddened to hear of S.Lee's passing. I will miss seeing him in Fort Myers, getting a wonderful bear hug from him and having our discussions about our beloved Democratic party. I will always remember his great wisdom, loving words and warm personality. My sincere condolences to the Crouch family on this tremendous loss.
