I got to know Sally briefly through Jim Brand and loved hearing their collective stories of Gainesville icon, Harry Crews and looking at photos of her son and grandson. She had one of most beautiful spirits of any woman I've ever met and her home perched above Hogtown Creek was a lovely oasis. Recently, I went by and walked around their home to pay my respects to Sally, Harry and Jim. All three left their mark on me. Sally was beautiful inside and out and left our world a better place. Her voice was cheerful and her smile so pretty. May she rest in peace in a lush garden filled with love.
