Ryan L. Howell's Obituary
Ryan L Howell, age 22, passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2017. Born January 25, 1995 in Gainesville, FL. Ryan was a 2013 Gainesville High School graduate and attended Sante Fe College. While at Gainesville High School, Ryan participated in the Cambridge Program, earned a Varsity Letter in Cross Country and was voted “Most Artistic Male” by his Senior Class. Ryan had a true passion for art and photography, as well as, music and playing his guitar. He had an especially keen eye for nature photography. Ryan truly had a beautiful soul and was loved by so many. He will be dearly missed.
Ryan is survived by his loving parents, Teresa and Layne Howell, and his sweet sisters, Ashlyn and Ellyn Howell. He is survived by his aunts, uncles and cousins: Tammy, Bob, Kaleigh and Spencer Dozois (Nashua, NH); Stacey, Mike, Michael, Tyler, Joshua and Sofi Gager (Godley, TX) and Jason Howell (Brooker, FL). He is also survived by so many loving family members in Florida, South Carolina, Kansas and across the country.
The family invites you to join them in the celebration of Ryan’s life on Friday, August 18, 2017 from 5-7pm at Williams-Thomas Funeral Home Westarea, 823 NW 143rd St. Ryan’s funeral service will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church, 4000 NW 53rd Avenue on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 11am. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Central. Please feel free to come dressed casually in shorts, sandals, and, if you have one, a tropical shirt. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations in Ryan’s name to New Perspectives Healthy Living, 818 E. Silver Springs Blvd., Ocala, FL 34470, as a scholarship as they help guide others through addiction recovery and mental health.
