Ruth Ann Huff's Obituary
Ruth Ann Huff, 84, longtime resident of Gainesville, Florida, died Saturday, October 15, 2016, at her home, following a brief illness.
Mrs. Huff was born in Augusta, Georgia on November 2, 1931 to the late Marshall and Lillian Retalic. She had lived in Gainesville for most of her life, working as a property manager and as a caregiver. Mrs. Huff enjoyed knitting, crocheting and cooking, and was of the Church of God faith. She was preceded in death in 1974 by her husband Bill Huff.
She is survived by her daughter, Crystal Ann (Johnie) Lee of Newberry and her son, Robert Clayton (Karen) Huff of Lawtey; four grandchildren, Carolle Huff, Jeremy Lee, Christie Lee Plough and Jonathon Lee. Six great grandchildren also survive.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at 11:00 A.M., at the family’s home, call for directions. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the charity of your choice.
