Ruth Louise Cowart's Obituary
Ruth Louise Cowart, age 85 of Archer, FL passed away peacefullyon Saturday April 5th 2014 at her home on the property where she was born toher parents T.B. and Vida Pearl Videon on November 18, 1928
She was preceded in her journey to heaven by her husbandHillary Cowart after 51 years of marriage, parents, two brothers and a greatgrandchild, and followed closely in her journey by her daughter Hilda “Beth”Shultzaberger.
Survived by her children Ruth “Wegi” & Louis Leopold,Marie & Greg Lutzow, Hillary &Ginnie Cowart and Chester & TammyCowart. Her sixteen grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.
She was a private duty registered nurse, and homemaker, wholovingly cared for her multi-generational family farm, was an avid angler,seamstress, gardener, and crafter. Ruth selflessly devoted her whole life tofamily, friends, and all of those in need. She was a passionate volunteer inthe community and was a member of the Order of Eastern Star for over fiftyyears. She will be forever in our hearts and will be greatly missed until wemeet again in Heaven. We love you our beloved Mother, Grandma, Great-Grandma,Aunt, Sister and Friend.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Celebration United Methodist Church, 9501 SW Archer Road, Gainesville with Pastor Harry Holloman officiating. Interment will follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Archer. The family will receive friends Friday, April 11, 2014, 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME WESTAREA, 823 NW 143rd Street.
