Ruth Elizabeth Baert's Obituary
Mrs. Ruth Elizabeth Baert, 69, resident of Newberry, Florida, died Friday, July 27, 2018, in the E. T. York Hospice Care Center, Gainesville, following a brief illness.
Mrs. Baert was born on July 23, 1949 in Wheeling, West Virginia to the late Charles Alexander and Betty Jane Wade. She has lived in the Gainesville area since 2002, working for many of those years in the produce department at Publix. Mrs. Baert’s greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Jack Layne Baert; a daughter, Winnie Wannette (Michael) Uelman, all of Newberry; a brother, Charles Alexander Wade, Jr., of Beaumont, CA; two grandchildren, Jackie Lynn Billings, of Oakland Park, FL and Nicholas Alexander Uelman, of Newberry.
