Roy "Tatum" Wilds' Obituary
Roy “Tatum” Wilds, age 67 of Bronson, passed away Saturday, May 14, 2016 in the Malcom Randall VA Medical Center. Tatum was born December 30, 1948 in Gainesville, Florida to Bill and Dorothy Kirby Wilds. He retired from the City of Gainesville and the University of Florida. He was a member of the Alachua County Fair Association and the CWA Union. In his free time Tatum enjoyed fishing, going to the beach and most of all, spending time with his family. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
Tatum is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Ann Wilds; daughters, Jacque Simmons and Sharon' Greene; son-in-law, Jamie Simmons; brothers, Thomas Beaty, Johnny Wilds, Ronnie Wilds and Bobby Wilds; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren and his dog, Sugar Bear.
Memorial Services will be held Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 1:00 p.m., at Bronson Community Church, 948 East Hathaway Avenue, Bronson, with Pastor Terrrell Burge officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday, May 19, 2016, 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME DOWNTOWN, 404 North Main Street.
