Rosaline Marie Gunter's Obituary
Rosaline Marie Gunter, age 98 of Gainesville, FL passed away Saturday, April 12, 2025. She was born on September 24, 1926, to Henry Antonio and Margaret Pedro Gularte. She was born and raised in San Jose, CA. Rosaline met and married James Marion Gunter and they had three sons.
She enjoyed hunting and fishing; she liked to knit and sew. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and volunteered at the St Patrick’s Thrift shop for years.
Rosaline is survived by her sons, Donald Lee Gunter (Norma), David A. Gunter (Lauren) and Mark James Gunter; brother, Donald Wilson; nine grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, James Marion Gunter, sister, Mary Lou Wilson, brother, Henry Gularte, Jr. and grandson, Donald Gunter Jr.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 550 NE 16th Ave. Gainesville, FL.
