Ronald Ralph Sansbury's Obituary
Ronald Ralph Sansbury, age 76 of Gainesville passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2015. He was born March 6, 1939 in Nichols, FL to Ralph Lambert and Birdie Roxie Humphrey Sansbury.
He was a native Floridian.
He proudly served in the United State Air Force, Ron loved airplanes and was a jet mechanic in the Air Force.
He had a passion for vegetable gardening and was an avid Gator fan.
He had a sense of humor “I guess you’re wondering why I called this meeting” he would always say.
Ron loved God, family and Country.
He is survived by his wife Sylvia Williams of Gainesville; children, Sharri Walitalo of Kearneyville, WV, Scott Sansbury of Tampa, FL, Kelly A. Loving of Plant City, FL; four step-daughters, Lisa Short of Alachua, FL, Lori McIvor of Monroe, VA, Bonnie Casey of Gainesville, FL, Heidi Esposito of Destin, FL; one step-son, Bobby Litwins, Plano, TX; sisters, Yvonne Gallops (Nelson) of Brandon FL, Carman Murray of Durant, FL, Jan Serina (Jim) of Lutz, FL; aunt, Virginia Underhill of Plant City, FL; five grandchildren; one great grandson and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service will be held Thursday, January 7, 2016 at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL with military honors. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Heart Association, 3324 West University Avenue #128, Gainesville, FL 32607.
