Romualdo G. Marquinez's Obituary
Romualdo G. Marquinez, 94, passed away on April 18, 2023.
Romualdo, or Rudy to friends and family, was born on July 1, 1929. After graduating from University of the East in the Philippines, Rudy went on to work at the Philippine National Bank, before he joined the United States Navy.
In 1964, Rudy married Angelita. They went on to have 2 children, Robert and Rodnie. After retiring in 1981, he became very active in the community. He enjoyed fishing and going on runs.
Rudy is survived by his wife Angelita, his children Robert (Claire) and Rodnie (Marjorie), and his grandchildren, Julianna, Trevor, Jeremy, and Jason.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, April 29, 2023, at 9:00AM at Holy Faith Catholic Church, 747 NW 43rd St. The family will receive friends Friday, April 28, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Williams- Thomas Downtown chapel, 404 North Main Street. Interment will be held at Jacksonville National Cemetery with Military Honors at a later date
