Roger Dale "Pee Wee" Porter's Obituary
Roger Dale Porter, who was known as Pee Wee, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, October 29, 2014. He was 53 years old. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Dorothy Porter and brothers, John (Sambo) and Larry Porter. He is survived by his sister, Elizabeth (Dan) Simmons; two nieces, Casey Dukes and Amy (Chris) Wyche; one nephew, Dustin Simmons and two great nieces and one great nephew.
Pee Wee loved his family, Nascar and life in general. He was always willing to help anyone who needed him.
He will be greatly missed.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, November 3, 2014 at 11:00 a.m., in Fairbanks Cemetery, with Dr. Lonnie Broome officiating. The family will receive friends one half hour prior to the service, beginning at 10:30 a.m.
