Roger Hubert Morgan's Obituary
Roger Hubert Morgan, age 60 o f Newberry, passed away Friday, October 31, 2014 in North Florida Regional Medical Center. Roger was born December 18, 1953 in Gainesville, Florida to Clayton and Betty Smith Morgan. He was a self-employed construction worker and in his free time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting pool and playing cards.
Roger is survived by his wife, Mary Morgan; mother, Betty Morgan; daughter, Racheal Morgan; son, Wayne Morgan; grandchildren, Shawn, Hallie, Emma, Clayton, Little and Autumn and siblings, Jeannie Lewis, Dale Morgan, Ann and Everett Daugherty, Marty Morgan and Becky Eadie.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, November 6, 2014 at 11:00 a.m., in the chapel of WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME DOWNTOWN, 404 North Main Street, with Rev. J.W. Arnold and Rev. Wayne Hinote officiating. Burial will follow in Fairbanks Cemetery followed by a gathering of family and friends at the home of Dolly Daugherty, 8355 NE 41st Street, Fairbanks. The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 5, 2014, 5:30 to 7:00 p.m., at the funeral home.
