Roger Claude's Obituary
Roger Claude age 84, passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, in Gainesville, Florida. He was born on January 6, 1938, in Port A Piment, Haiti to Alix and Aneise Marsan Claude.
He loved his country of Haiti, raised in Aux-Cayes and after 18 -19 years he moved to Port Au Prince where he met his wife, Bernadette. Roger loved his family more than anything and lived life to the very fullest, he was very generous, always willing to help anyone. He loved his Rhum Barbancourt. Roger had many many friends, and his home was usually the gathering place.
Roger is survived by his wife of 52 years, Bernadette A. Claude, five children: Marjorie C. Paul (Ellie), Ronald Claude (Missy), Clifford Claude (Wesline), Gardy Claude (Valerie), Rachel Claude-Brice (Eddy); 3 sisters: Rose May Claude, Edith Haspil, Nicole Jean-Louis; 9 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 4 brothers.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Williams-Thomas Funeral Home Westarea 823 N.W. 143rd Street Newberry, FL. with Fr. Cyprien Emile as officiant. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 9:00 a.m. Reception to follow.
