Roger Clair Wood's Obituary
Roger Clair Wood passed away peacefully on Monday, September 25th surrounded by his wife and children. Roger was deeply loved by his family and seen as a hero and the rock of the family, always providing sound advice only when asked, and forever positive in his thoughts of others. Roger is survived by his wife, Patricia Ann Wood, their six children Lee Ann Wood (Mark Grondahl), Lynn Hathaway (Mark Hathaway), Lorraine Taylor, Mark Wood (Cheryl Wood), Lisa McCaffrey (Donald McCaffrey), Laura McDilda (Rich McDilda), eleven grandchildren, and fifteen great-grandchildren.
Roger was an Army Veteran and then worked his entire career with General Electric. He was an avid lover of sports, supporting the Gator Football and Basketball teams as a booster for many years. He enjoyed traveling with his wife and family and visited every U.S. State and several other countries.
The family will be celebrating his life privately and thanks you for your kind thoughts.
