Robert K. Webb "Ken"'s Obituary
Robert K. Webb “Ken,” age 83, of Alachua, FL, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, March 27, 2020, with his children in his presence.-. He was born on March 3, 1937, in Chattanooga, TN, to Jube Collins Webb and Janie Barry.
Ken was an Aerospace Electrical Engineer. He is a Veteran of the United States Navy, a Certified Captain with the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary, and a Certified Nursery and Tree Farm owner, the Forest Grove Tree Farm. He was an Angler and was the 3rd place recipient of the John Elliott Award by the Gainesville Offshore Fishing Club.
He is survived by his sister, Mary Blanton Ward; son, Randle Webb; daughter: Sherri Webb; grandchildren: Ty Jones (Ashleigh), Ayla Jones; great-grandchildren: Londyn, Eli, McKynzie; nieces: Cheryl Blanton, Cindy Blanton, Connie Blanton; great-nephew: Zachary Rivenbark; great-nieces: Jamie Muse, Brandi Majia, and their children.
He is preceded in death by his father, mother, and brother.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2020, at 10:00 A.M. at the Williams-Thomas Funeral Home, Westarea Chapel, 823 NW 143rd Street, Newberry, FL 32669.
