Robert Trail's Obituary
Bob (R.E.) Trail was born on March 11, 1916, in Bell, Fl. He farmed his grandmother's eighty-acre homestead as a young man, then served in the Army in WWII, traveling to France, England, Germany and even working on the Alaskan highway, in Whitehorse. After his service, he dreamed of moving to South Florida and chose Miami, where he met the love of his life, Marianne Emily Watkins, who preceded him in death (2004). They married in 1949 and had four daughters: Marie Hussey, Diana Manders, Linda Sebolt and Karen Cutler, nine grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren. He worked in wholesale hardware, as buyer and manager before returning to Trenton after retirement, but kept active till the end, on his own beloved farm. He was an avid woodworker, a master at repairs, and a great storyteller and much loved Dad. He passed away peacefully at home with his family on May 22.
