My heart goes out to Robbie's family for the passing of his beautiful soul. He lived his life much better than most and inspired all who were fortunate to know him, of which I am one. He was truly a gift from God. I have many pictures and memories from his early years when he attended my school and I was his teacher that I am willing to share for the asking. He will live in my heart forever.

Our family has so many memories of Robbie. The earliest is when I was trusted to be his first baby sitter (he was about 8 months old) when Mary K had Brownie’s meetings at your house and Ruth Anne was the leader. He and our eldest son Tim were fast friends. Many more memories in between but having Robbie write and produce weekly “Gator Bytes” radio programs for Bob White Productions is another sweet memory. He was really good at it. So proud to have known him. Sending so much love.

To all of Robbie's family. All of you are true examples of what being a family means. I have had the blessing of witnessing this not just through your words, but also your actions. I had the pleasure of meeting Robbie only a few times. He was the kind of person you wanted to get to know better. For your family and all who know Robbie, you are blessed I'm sure with many wonderful memories which you will keep close to your hearts forever. I'm sure he's running all around Heaven like he said he was going to do!

I will always remember Robbie as "a champion of accessibility," and will be forever grateful for his impact on the Friendship Disability Committee at Trinity UMC. His work opened doors for others and made me more aware of the physical barriers that exist in so many places. Robbie was gracious and articulate and passionate about inclusion.
