Robert Michael “Bob” Murwin, 74, of Hawthorne, Fl passed away Sunday, July 21, 2024 in Gainesville, Fl.
Bob was born in Jacksonville, Florida to William L. Sr. and Frances Clark Murwin. Bob’s family moved to Keystone Heights, Fl and he graduated from Keystone high school in 1968. He immediately joined the United States Navy.
Bob was a member of AmVet Post 86, Cracker Boy’s Hunt Club and the NRA.
He enjoyed the outdoors, especially deer hunting and the Smoky Mountains. Bob also collected baseball and football cards.
Bob is survived by his wife of 50 years, Edna Beckham Murwin; Daughters, Melissa Bates and Lisa Wallace; Brothers, William and Kenneth Murwin; Sisters, Linda Raulerson and Cheryl Curtis; Grandchildren, Reagan, Jessie, and Madisyn.
The family will receive friends at Williams-Thomas Hawthorne funeral home on Thursday, July 25, 2024 from 5:30-7:00pm. Burial will be private.
