Merle Pribbenow
Please accept my sincerest condolences on the passing of Rob Hall, who was a good friend and close colleague of mine for three years (1975-1978). He was a truly exceptional intelligence officer who during those years handled a difficult and extremely important operation with courage and remarkable forbearance in the face of tremendous problems and obstacles. The ultimate success of this operation was almost entirely due to Rob's skills as a case officer and his own personal moral compass. I have always felt that Rob never received the kind of accolades he so richly deserved for the success of this extremely high level operation. I will always be grateful for the kindness, consideration, and friendship that Rob showed toward me when I was just a fledgling case officer right out of training. I was greatly saddened when I heard of Rob's passing. I know that he will be missed by all who knew him. Merle Pribbenow
