Robert Joseph Springer Jr. 54 (“Bobby”) passed away August 17, 2022 in Gainesville, FL
Bobby was born October 21, 1968 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Carol Ann Smith and Robert Springer Sr. The family relocated to Miami, FL where he attended kindergarten. The family then moved to Gainesville where he spent the rest of his school years and adult life. He graduated from Buchholz High School in 1986 and the University of Florida in 1995.
He had an innate ability to find the humor in life. Bobby was always known as a prankster who loved to make people laugh. Being born and raised the majority of his life in Gainesville, he was the Gators' biggest fan. He loved to spend time with family and loved to be on the beach or fishing in the Gulf.
He was preceded in death by both his parents, his grandparents (Elsie and Claude Smith, Helen and Robert Springer) and his aunt (Donna Lockward).
Bobby is survived by his son Tyler Springer (Allison), sister, Lisa Willis (James) and his niece and nephew (Ashley and Jamie).
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. Williams- Thomas Westarea Chapel, 823 NW 143rd Street, Newberry, FL.
