Dean Lanzillotti demanded the best out of everyone around him, so much that a photo of the Mount Helen's eruption mysteriously appeared in his UF Conference Room tagged "Dean Blowing His Top." But I mostly remember how after an especially hectic busy workday he would pass out cookies for all. He loved people, team, and success... and more his family. My deepest condolences to Donna, who long ago earned much amazement from her father for her "parachuting" adventures... Dean's life was truly adventurous and amazing.

Dr. Lanzillotti worked with our team at Infotech for many, many years. Until Covid turned our world upside down, he would come into the office almost every day to have lunch with our team and discuss world events. It was astonishing how involved he remained concerning what was going on in the world. If the news offered nothing interesting, there was always a sporting event or politics to chat about – and always with good-natured witticism. Lanz (as our team called him) was an integral part of our work family and will always hold a very special place in our hearts. We were lucky to have him with us for as long as we did – he will be very missed. My sincere condolences to Dr. Lanzillotti’s family.

Dr Bob was a huge advocate for the tissue donation community. I was so impressed by his passion and determination and unbelievable energy! Bob was a force for good in the universe and will be missed.
