Rita Carol Walden's Obituary
Rita Carol Walden age 73 passed away at home on December 20, 2022. She was born April 11, 1949, in Fulton County Georgia to Anna Margaret Haney and Edger T. Haney. Rita moved to Cedar Key FL in 1980 where she ran several businesses through the years including the Cedar's Lounge, Cedar Key Country Store, and The Dock Shop. In 1992 she moved back to Atlanta where she met her husband George Walden. After she started getting grandkids she moved back to Cedar Key to be near them until moving to Bronson in 2019.
Rita is survived by her husband George Walden of Bronson, FL; daughters Angela Lozier of Chiefland FL, Julie Gore of Cedar Key FL, and Jeanna Gray of Plantersville, MS; grandchildren Laia Gore of Cedar Key, Wade Gore of Cedar Key, Cassie Lozier of Chiefland FL, Chelsie Gray of Tupelo, Ms; brother Lamar Haney of Kodak, TN and nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Calvin Haney.
